Abstract Based on Bingham model, the torque formula of drum-type magnetorheological brake (MRB) is presented, and the coupling relationship between its structure and magnetic circuit is analyzed. Then an integrated optimization design method for the brake is proposed, which takes maximizing braking torque and minimizing brake weight as optimizaiton objective. The optimization solution is obtained by parameterized finite element analysis of ANSYS and then the optimal design scheme is obtained. The simulation results show that the design scheme of MRB can meet not only the braking torque requirements, but also the design demands of magnetic circuit. Finally the input-output relationship of the brake is analyzed in detail.

圆筒式磁流变制动器结构与磁路耦合的优化设计
基于Bingham塑性模型,导出了圆筒式磁流变制动器的制动力矩公式,分析了结构与磁路的耦合关系.在此基础上,提出一种结构与磁路集成优化设计的方法;以最大化制动器制动力矩和最小化制动器质量为目标,建立磁流变制动器集成优化数学模型,采用ANSYS基于参数化有限元分析的优化技术进行优化求解,得到磁流变制动器的最佳设计方案.仿真结果表明该设计方案既能满足制动力矩要求,又能满足磁路设计要求.最后分析了励磁电流与制动力矩的输入-输出关系.
