This paper extensively discusses the reliability-based robust design of mechanical cornponents with arbitrary distribution parameters by combining the reliability-based optimization design theory,the reliability sensitivity technique and the robust design method and proposed a numerical method for reliability-based robust design.The reliability sensitivity is added to the reliability-based optimization design model and the reliability-based robust design is summed up as a problem of multi-objection optimization.Under the condition that the first four moments of basic random parameters are available,the computer model based on this model can complete the reliability-based robust design of mechanical components with arbitrary distribution parameters and acquire corresponding information accurately and quickly.

By adopting the theoretical method of reliability-based robust design of mechanical components with arbitrary distribution parameters,axle components,such as half-axle,front-axle,back-axle housing,are designed.And then the author offers the result of computation simulation analysis,which provides a theory foundation to reliability-based robust design on mechanical components in practical engineering.

A method for the design of LON (local operating network)network adapter based on PCI bus is discussed and the technology of realizing the interface between Neuron and PC adopting dual-port RAM is implemented.The process of hardware design and software implementation for communication between Lon Works network and PC iS then described with details.Finally a method to develop driver for network adapter is also offered.So far this network adapter has supplied efficient support for the interface between PC and Lon Works.
Stability of cylindrical shells with rectangular openings subjected to axial compression

Numerical methods are adopted to investigate the stability performance of thin cylindrical shells with rectangular openings subjected to axial compression.Comparison and analysis,facing the geometric parameters,namely circumferential angle,height,location in axial direction and the number of cut-outs of the rectangular openings are conducted,and im pacts of the two types of initial geometric flaws are also involved.The analyzing result shows that circumferential angle,with whose increase the critical load decreases linearly,is the paramount factor influencing the stability of axially compressed cylindrical shells with rectangular openings.Conversely,height and axial location of cut-out generate little influence.In addition,the result also indicates that a cylindrical shell with rectangular openings is insensitive to the eigenmode-affine flaws while it is quite sensitive to axis-symmetric circumferential depressions.

In limit design,how to determine limit load of a structure is the pivotal job in engineering design.Research on limit load of spherical vessel with elliptical nozzle is conducted through testing the strain and adopting the method of double slope of elastic curve,and the results:minimum limit load of vessel-P=9.48 MPa,burst pressure-P=16.7 MPa,and design pressure according to limit design method-P =6.32 MPa.are achieved.These results indicates that under the circumstance of not opening reinforcement,the weakest area of spherical vessel with elliptical nozzle lies on the intersection of the major axis of elliptical nozzle and the spherical vessel,which is near the spherical vessel.In addition,the vessel always bursts there first too.

In order to meet the needs 0f electro-bicycle’S development,a computer aided test systern for measuring 1:1 performance of electro-bicycle is established.On the basis of introducing the configuration and the functions of this system ,some key techniques,including the test principle of 1:1 performance,the measurement and control system with high performance,the manipulator to simulate the feet of people with high flexibility,and the extracting and processing key techniques of target signals under the condition of strong electro-magnetic interference,are studied and then this system is successfully developed by referring to the model testifying criterion for electro-bicycle aided by auxiliary driving motors of YAM AHA Corporation.This system has been applied in practice,and the results of long-term running demonstrate that the proposed scheme is feasible and effective.The corresponding system features as high efficiency,precision and robustness,and it well fulfills the application requirements in model and leaving factory test.

The author has designed and built the prototype machines of standing-wave rotary ultrasonic motor and multiple-vibration-reed standing-wave ultrasonic motor separately on the basis of various vibration modes.In addition,the result of performance test iS offered and the analysis Oil the impact of syntony frequency,voltage and pre-press on their performance is still conducted.And then the author drew the conclusion of their advantages as well as the disadvantages through the comparison of efficiencies and torques of these two types of motors.

The high-speed cutting-tool system is the pivotal components of a com puter numerical control last carving machine,whose performance directly influences the manufacturing quality of shoe last.A 3D solid model of a high-speed cutting-tool system is established and a dynamic analysis finite element model is developed.Furthermore,the normal modes of cutting-tool are calculated,whose results highly accord with those gained in experimental test.Based on such dynamic FEM analysis model,loads of cutting-tool when machining are analyzed,and dynamic velocity and displacement(on outer-surface of cutting-tool)response are calculated.These are significant for further analysis and research on noise of cutting-tool.

This paper discusses the necessity of fuzzy reliability design for motorcycle components and accessories,and starting from the basic theory of fuzzy reliability design,conducts analysis according to the corresponding methods of stress-intensity interference theory.In addition,this work is involved in the randomicity of stress on motorcycle components and their assembled ones,and the fuzzy characteristics of the corresponding intensity,and furthermore provides a fuzzy reliability design method adaptable to motorcycle components,which regards intensity as a fuzzy value while stress as a random value.Finally,this paper illuminates how to determine some related parameters and transform fuzzy events into common ones with examples.

The results of gear parameter optimization are applied in reliability optimization design for planetary gear transmission system.It is composed of the following parts:division of out-mating modification coefficient plus(X) by equal-slip ratio of two gears, selection of in-mating angle (α) on the basis of enhancing the touching intensity of in-mating gears and equally ensuring the superposition degree,and the exploration of the optimal m/a.Finally,the reliability optimization of the system is achieved.

This paper describes the blind-number stress-strength reliable computation-model established on the basis of the concept and operations of blind number in Uncertain Theory and offers the corresponding computation program in LabVIEW .In addition,test on the validity and practicability of this model is also conducted by comparing the result of bolt reliability gained from this model with that obtained from the traditional reliability-design method.

Pre—stressed concrete(PC)beam with I-shaped section has been widely applied in practical engineering structure. Beam with T,inverted T or rectangular section is its special simplifled form.It is a practical job to establish a simple and efficient analysis model for such PC beam.From the nonlinear stress-strain relationships of constitutive materials,moment-curvature(M-C) relationships of I-shaped PC section。through which bending-resistance stiffness of all elements along the beam can be determined,are established by section analysis. Based on these,a macroscopic finite element model considering the material nonlinearity for analysis of PC bending beams with I-shaped section is developed.The comparison between the test result of one tested beam and the test data indicates that this model is capable to simulote the nonlinear response of a PC beam over the entire range of loading up to failure.

and this will trigger a great deal of inconvenience to consumer’S shopping behavior.The author analyzes the application and combination of various kinds of man-machine engineering factors in supermarket environment design through investigating and discussing the selling space environment and on the basis of further studying the man-machine engineering.It fully embodies the idea that people are the essential factor in design and these will offer guidance and research to supermarket environment design in theory.
