Abstract  This paper discusses the necessity of fuzzy reliability design for motorcycle components and accessories, and starting from the basic theory of fuzzy reliability design, conducts analysis according to the corresponding methods of stress-intensity interference theory. In addition, this work is involved in the randomicity of stress on motorcycle components and their assembled ones, and the fuzzy characteristics of the corresponding intensity, and furthermore provides a fuzzy reliability design method adaptable to motorcycle components, which regards intensity as a fuzzy value while stress as a random value. Finally, this paper illuminates how to determine some related parameters and transform fuzzy events into common ones with examples.
