Adopting the theoretical method of reliability-based robust design of mechanical components with arbitrary distribution parameters(in part 1),this paper provides the results of computation,simulation and analysis on the basis of reliability-based robust design of the mechanical typical spring components with arbitrary distribution parameters,such as tension bar,coil spring and multi-leaf spring.These results offer theoretical reference to the reliability-based robust designs of mechanical components in practical engineering.

Based on the analysis of the structural characteristics of long belt conveyor,this paper describes the start-up stage through the result of computer simulation and presents the basic requirement of driving system in belt conveyor.The existing drives are classified as frequency converter,fluid coupling,direct current motor control,liquid viscous clutch, fluid motor drive,asynchronous motor soft start,and differential stepless frequency and their principles,advantages and disadvantages are also discussed.And finally the author draws the conclusions,on basis of the statistic analysis of the aspects of the applied drive systems,such as the maximum length,load capacity,number of drive,and power of single drive etc,that large conveyors in complex running conditions are required to adopting close-loop control and the utilization of frequency-converter will be gradually increased with the development of electronic instruments.

In order to establish the reliability model of long pipeline and rope,which is capable of reflecting the correlativity between virtual components,the present paper illuminates the segment partition principle of long pipeline and rope continuity system ,relationship between sizes of virtual segments and features of flaw distribution,distribution of segment intensity,the failure correlativity among components,relationships of segment sizes,relationships between distribution of system intensity and that of segment intensity and SO on.Based on these,under the precondition of eliminating the traditional hypothesis that failures of individual component in the same system are independent,failure probability model of continuity system is developed.Such model can reflect the“common-cause failure”—the failure correlativity generally existing in such system and it performs much better than the traditional reliability model of series system i'n matching the reality.Therefore,it has a wider application range.

In order to apply ultrasonic capturing techniques into M EM S and realize nondestructive and non-contact remote manipulation upon micro-component,this paper conducts theoretical research on radiation force acted on the micro-component in acoustic field.The results of computer simulation indicates that many factors,such as material,size of micro-component,density of medium ,acoustic parameters of ultrasonic etc ,willinfluence the radiation force on micro-component and it is feasible to implement manipulation on micro-component by exploiting the technology of acoustic standing waves.

Flanges and convex heads are designed separately by ignoring their interaction in design by rules (DBR),and there is no design specification for delete nonstandard flange with convex head so far.A method based on stress classification on design of united plate flange with convex head iS presented.This method takes the interaction between flange and convex head into account and greatly improves the stress state on the weakest locations.It still achieves lowered manufacturing cost and economic profit.

This paper presents a new method on designing Smith predictor based on the internal model control(IMC)theory.This method is capable in solving the mismatch problem by identifying the model parameters of process objectives through relay-based feedback and adopting the self-adaptive theory.The experimental result indicates that this simple and easily utilized algorithm can achieve outstanding results in the control systems with large time-delay.

To solve the poor adaptability of fume hood to smoke,the author designs a new type of baffle.and conducts numerical simulation on it by adopting K-ε turbulent flow model and twophase flow theory.The result of computation has shown that with a range of smoke quantity,the proposed baffle can effectively separate smoke from the inlet of fume hood and smoothly have the smoke pushed out.Its security and adjustability has been greatly improved.

This paper presents 3 new multi-objective optimization design mathematical model by comprehensively analyzing the load-deflection characteristics and possible constrains of pull-type clutch diaphragm spring.This model takes the minimum of average compressing force of spring within the scope of the friction slice wear and the driver’S minimum manipulating force on separating bearings 3S optimization objectives,which can bring 3 more stable reservation coefficient and 3 smaller declutching force.As 3 novel meta-heuristic optimization algorithm ,ant algorithm possesses powerful ability in searching better solutions coexisting with the disadvantages such as easily immersing into stagnation,slow convergence speed and SO on.Ant algorithm is combined with genetic algorithm.In ae-ach iteration of ant colony algorithm .the first step is to choose initial values of components by adopting the trail information,and then determine the solution by cross and mutation operations. Finally,comparison between this solution and the ones gained from other optimization algorithms is conducted,the result of which indicates that this algorithm have 3 much higher stability and convergence speed.

SCADA system is being widely applied on crude pipelines as self-control system at present.The proposed leak detection system based on SCADA can test,display,control pipeline parameters.and it also can simulate dynamic state Of pipeline system ,and achieve rea1 time detection of leak time,leak position and leak quantity.Aiming at the system of Huabei Oil Field,the system combines rea1 time transient modeling method and rarefaction wave method.and achieves highly improved accuracy and large reduction of false alarm rate.The field operations over the past two years show that the system is stable and reliable.

The disadvantage of the CM S methods is that they ignore the bearing capacity of control system ’S design technology and the features of stimulation.The preservation of a large number of low-frequency appendage modes contributes nothing to the objective of the entire control system ,and conversely increases the complexity of the multi-body model.Hence,to achieve the component model reduction,it is feasible to conduct coordinate transformation on component modes and eliminate the least controllable and least-observable parts to conserve the necessary precision of the remaining modes for subsequent analysis,and finally build the reduction dynamic model before traditional components combination.

Object-oriented programming technology combines data and operation.This modulariz ing design method greatly facilitates the engineering design and enhances the maintainability,extensibility and code reutilization of software and makes it easily organized by offering sharing platform to program.This paper presents the object-oriented program architecture for optimal design of tensegrity cable domes,which can be adopted in pre—press optimization,section optimization,and shape optimization.Enlightened by the idea of sharing resource,the author proposes the concept of public class library and programmed three such libraries in C+ + .This idea not only brings great convenience to subsequent program design,but saves the researchers’time
and energy by avoiding repeated work.Finally,a numerical example of Levy cable dome is given to testify the validity of this architecture.

Structure born noise control could be achieved by reduction of sound generation,transmission loss or reduction of sound radiation.Low noise design and realization of solid-born sound reduction measures needs a detailed acoustical weakanalysis.Here it is necessary to make a distinction between the air-born and the solid-born sound emission of the machinery.
