Research on middleware for speciality knowledge acquirement

The issues on using middleware technology for speciality knowledge acquirement was analyzed.Based on W eb services technology upon XM L,SOAP,UDDI and W SDL,new applying model of middleware for speciality knowledge acquirement was built,which can effectively solve the problems of messages transferring,abstract description of services’function and publishing& discovering of services via Internet.Taking Web service of analysis on performance of fixed pad thrust bearings as an example,the authors get the conclusion that W eb service is an effective method for distributed design knowledge acquisition and knowledge resources integration.

 Key success factors for the introduction of new tools for virtual product development are the integration into the processes and the creation of the corporate culture and organization.An industry benchmark performed by IBM shows reasons for the differences between the studied companies and derives the success factors for organization and culture. Based on the experience of the strategic project“Vipro-Virtual Product”at AUDI AG, the core elements of the required change process are described and evaluated.

Methods of computer aided structural optimization,which are based on the finite-element-method(FEM ),are presented.The topology optimization helps in designing the shape of a new component.The shape optimization improves the component with respect to stiffness or fatigue life by a local adjustment of the surface geometry.

This paper presents a cost tolerance sensitivity analysis method that can determine which features are critical and non—critical early in the designing phase.The uncertainty in the cost-tolerance model is analyzed at first. Second,the method for robustness analysis utilizing DOE (design of experiment)is proposed.An example is studied to illustrate the method at last.

M ultiway principal component analysis (M PCA )is widely used in performance monitoring and fault diagnosis of batch processes.However,it could not be efficiently applied to a process with high nonlinear dynamics.A method combining M PCA and slide-model is developed to deal with this class of batch process.The experiment results for industrial batch process indicate that the method iS effective and available.

Disadvantage of current methods of unknown-surface measurement is analyzed after some methods of adaptive measurement of known-surface are introduced.The rectangle-division method for unknown-surface adaptive measurement is provided to realize adaptive distribution of measurement points.The validity of this method is testified through simulation analysis and a mouse model experiment.The methodology provides a new way for improving measurement precision and efficiency.

Robot soccer integrates multi advanced technologyes,such as image processing,communication,automation control and optimization decision,and so on.This paper analyses the kinematical model of robot soccer.Considering time-lag,nonlinear and other characters of the system which can not be overcome by traditional PID algorithm ,the authors applied fuzzy control to optimizing robot’S basic motion.By presenting the design of fuzzy control system and the simulation of system by Matlab,the authors find that the precision of robot can be improved by using fuzzy contro1.

Actuator is an important component in nuclear power plants. In order to satisfy the rigorous request of periodical testing and real—time monitoring for the performance of actuators,a set of embedded performance testing system using chip with ARM core is introduced which adopted “One Plus Four”structure.The M CU of the testing system is AT91M 55800A .at the same time,μc/os—I,a real-time operation system has been transplanted to the MCU for the convenience of software design and multi-task management.As auxiliary function,a set of self-calibration system for the torque sensor has also been developed.The result of long time running indicates that the system has the characteristics of high precision,high reliability,high real-time and favorable performance-price ratio.

In order to break through traditional design methods of continuous conveyors (such as scraper conveyors and slat conveyors),for example,type selection in fl table and experience analogy,according to the limiting balance principle of granular material,taking granular material as working object,conveying mechanism and influence factors including material attribute,the friction between material and conveyor,conveying height and scraper interval were analysed.Based on an instance of optimal design,it was acquired that the transport capability was restricted not only by the drive power,but also by the limiting height of normal transport on fl certain condition.The result of optimizing parameters indicates that the power is reduced by one-sixth approximately under the same condition,and provides machines of this kind with a theoretical base to realize the transformation from traditiona1 design to modern design.

In order to solve the problem of loosing and disengaging of the thread connecting parts,a new type of nut made of Fe-based shape memory alloy (SM A)is proposed,basing on the functional materials.The anti-loosing mechanism of the nut was mainly analyzed by theory,and the static and dynamic anti-loosing performance and the repeatability performance were studied by experiments.The results show that the nut not only has very good anti-loosing performance,but also can be used repeatedly.

The paper analyses the tooth bending of GB12759-91 double circular-arc gear by three-dimension boundary element.On the basis,some results,such as the relation between the stress in tooth root and load.the relation between the stress in tooth middle and load,the relation between the stress in tooth root and equivalent flections radius,and the relation between the stress in tooth middle and equivalent flections radius,are obtained.The study shows that the stress in tooth middle is larger than that in tooth root with big spiral angle and light load.Tooth middle is a key point of double circular-arc gear and more attention should be paid.

The paper studied the consolidation displacement of an elastic circular plate on a poroe-lastic foundation by Laplace transform and Hankel transform.The Fredholm integral equation of the second kind is established in the Laplace transform domain in order to obtain the consolidation displacement of the elastic plate.Laplace transform solutions are converted to time domain solutions by numerical methods.The numerical results useful to engineering practice are given.The results obtained indicate that the consolidation displacement of elastic plate increases with decreasing drained Poisson’S ratio,and the initial displacement of elastic plate increases with decreasing undrained Poisson’s ratio.
