Bi-directional integration of design and calculation

In support of the product development process the data flow between CAD and calculation systems should be enabled in both directions. The common term for this topic is ‘bi-directional data flow ’.But even in professional circles the usage of this term is equivocal.A unidirectional data flow can be specified ‘bi-directional’if it's done sequentially and counterdirectionallv.In this case it is notional equal to a real bi-directional data flow that is done continuously.Both approaches mentioned are fundamentally different. The article distinguishes the term ‘bi-directional’and points out the differences.

The implementation of AGV (automatic guided vehicle)is an important area on the research of intelligent mobile robot.The architecture and operational principle of a AGVS (automatic guided vehicle system)were discussed.Then the functional structure and hardware configuration of a testing AGV model were designed in detail.with the software implemented.Expectant effect was obtained by testing of the AGV mode1.which provided a reference for the development of AGVS applied in industrial process.

A numerical method was found,taking the iteration of Newton method as a nonlinear dynamitic system in which Julia sets leads to chaos.Those points of Julia set was in the neighborhood of those points where belong to the determinant of satisfies Jacobian matrix was equal to zero.Jacobian matrix equation was changed in a nonlinear equation with one variable by giving the other variable’s value and the variable scope of the nongiven variable was confirmed,then all solutions of the equation with one variable were found.All values were given in the neighborhood of those points to given variables and the scope for the nongiven variable by the solution wasconfirmed, then all solutions of wanting problems were determ ined by rude and fine iteration method. The finding all solutions to forward displacement analysis problem of 6-SPS parallelrobot mechanism was solved by this method,general expression of Jacobian with Newton iteration was obtained,and thus all solutions for this problem were determined. This provides a simple and new realization method for robot mechanics design.

VPP(visual programming platform)is an integrated visual environment by which VI(virtual instrument)systems can be developed quickly. VI component library is a set of basic building blocks for VPP programming,therefore it is the base in the VPP architecture. In the current version of VPP, however,the design and implementation of VIs suffered from some problems,such as low reuse and bad extendability.On the basis of analysis and formalization of VIC (VI components),not only the object model and dynamic model of VIC are proposed, but also a core framework for VIC is presented by using design patterns,then a reusable and extendable object-oriented framework which is described using unified modeling language(UML)is formed.Based on this framework, VI component library can be developed efficiently.

Laser probe has the advantages of non-contact and high precision in free form measurement and it is used frequently.But laser probe has a small linear measurement range,which makes it difficult to measure the surface with a high fluctuation.To solve this puzzle,this paper describes a tracing measurement methodology for laser probe. Through the methodology,laser probe can measure any height surface by adjudging its position up and down,and can adaptively choose tracing methods according to the curvature of surface.Measurement points can also distribute adaptively. Finally,a workpiece is measured through both constant step method and adaptive tracing method.The feasibility and efficiency are testified by the comparison of the results of the two methods. Adaptive tracing is a novel method for freeform surface measurement.

At present,most electromechanical systems(utilities) are managed in a separate subsystem way in vehicles (such as aeroplane,etc),form aspect of "scatter, mess,mixed". Ascheme of integrated m anagement is proposed for multi-eletrom echanical systems; introduces how to realize the integrated management by simulation platform ; gives the structures of hardware and software of platform as well as the strategies of task distribution and scheduling.

Continuously variable transmission is one of the important development fields of the transmission technology of the automobile.The development trend of metal V-belt CVT is introduced, the basic structure and transmission principles of metal V-belt CVT are explicated, several technique characteristics such as performance, reliability, service life and cost are also comparatively described.The electro-hydraulic control technology of metal V-belt CVT is analyzed, and a conclusion is drawn that only a synthesized control system of CVT with electro-hydraulic control technology can satisfy modern autom obile requirement.

On the basis of four different kinds of working condition,the twist-roller frictional transmission mechanism was analyzed from the point of dynamics,and from the analysis,the relationship between the acceleration of the twist-roller and the driving torque of the transmission shaft and that between the acceleration and the axial load,the kinetic limitation for pure rollingof the roller,and the function of the angle between the resultant driving force that was put on the twist-roller and the axis of the roller were obtained.Results show that the acceleration and the circumferential tangent driving force of the twist-roller almost have no relation with the axial load.

Based on one-dimensional flow theory,a model of tractor-brake hydraulic torque converter was established. A structure w as designed based on an old hydraulic torque converter D430. Its original characteristic was got through calculation. Original characteristic com pareanalysis to hydraulic torque converter D430 was made which proved that the results are reasonable and are im portant to design tractor-brake hydraulic torque convertor.

The energy management system (EMS) is the important part of substation automation system.An embedded energy management system based on the computer network is presented and developed.The system is designed of the embedded processor and the real time operating system(RTOS).The communication part of the system is based on the TCP/IP protocol via the Ethernet port or embedded modem .Thus this system has high reliability and good real time performance.The system design,hardware design,software design,and the practical operating results are discussed in detail.

In the process of a lot of spring’s production (diaphragm-spring or dishing-spring),the spring presstolerance’s increasing is made by the error of the fastigiated-angle internal diameter and external diameter.Exact computed the optimum aply for the tolerance of spring’s press is become least. The article enumerated some calculational equation below the different emendatorycondition.To imported the method of Monte Carlo (M-C) and get the result of calculational equations. The result is comparatively satisfactory. It’s at the production of spring quite practical.
