Product innovation method based on customer satisfaction and fuzzy calculation inference

In the economical circumstance of buying-market, product design must meets the needs of customer, product innovation must promotes customer satisfaction, so the system of product innovation based on customer satisfaction is very important in product design. On the ground of customer satisfaction investigation, the article has provides three dig methods which are the mini customer satisfaction, the fuzzy simulated based on genetic algorithm and the clustering methodof extension based on customer satisfaction, those methods focused on differentaspects respectively to dig the innovative points, then synthesize the dig methods of product innovation by using fuzzy calculation inference, after getting the innovative points of product, special knowledge and skills are needed which redesigns the product, one computational example of dig methods on product innovativepoints has been provided. Using the system of product innovation based on customer satisfaction is given, the innovative product design can meets the needs of customer.

Acquisition of design requirement in product design based on function matrix space and transformation

Acquisition principle framework of design requirement function and model of customer knowledge space are established facing to customer requirement function in concept design. By taking the five basic function sets, namely motion, power, control, connection and synthesis, as construction units and the customer requirement function matrix including them as expression form in function domain, space transformation and calculation principle and their judging rules are set up. In transformation process, the 3D space and transformation calculation are transformed into 2D plane and corresponding transformation calculation, whichrealizes the transformation from customer requirement function to design requirement function simultaneously with the realization of transformation from customer knowledge space to designer knowledge space and then obtains design requirement function including each basic function set space. An illustration running through the whole paper is utilized to demonstrate the feasibility of this theory and method and finally corresponding conclusion and the content of further research are provided.

Configuration design based on BP neural network for ETO product

Customized product of ETO (engineering-to-order) is hard to program and realize to automation due to the complex structure of its product family, bigdifference between product structures, involvement of personal experience and inspiration during design process, and a large amount of interaction between human and machine. Artificial neural network can simulate the structure of human brain and intelligent behavior, and have the ability of parallel processing, redundancy, self-organization, self-adaptation and association, which accords with the features of configuration design. Through analysis of ETO customized product requirements, a BP artificial neural network with some structure and function isestablished and trained. The trained network contains rules and experiences of ETO configuration design. Illustrations have demonstrated its feasibility.

Realization of CNC machine tool virtual prototype in UG integrated environment

CNC machine tool is an important manufacture equipment. To improve its design level and capability, it is necessary to import new technology and design method in design and development of CNC machine tool. To apply virtual prototype, a new engineering design theory and method, in design and development of CNC machine tool, specific implementation process of CNC machine tool virtual prototype based on the concept of virtual prototype is proposed. Analysis and compare on the features of the distributing software platform to implement this process and UG integrated environment are carried out. Taking development of a new type of CNC milling machine as an example, research on construction and simulation process of CNC machine tool virtual prototype in UG integrated environment is conducted. Then, research on numerical model, assembly, motion simulation, structure analysis and manufacture simulation of CNC machine tool virtual prototype arecarried out and corresponding illustrations are provided. The research indicates that construction of CNC machine tool virtual prototype and comprehensive simulation on it can effectively completed by adopting the function modules of UG and total optimization of designed machine tool can be achieved. This research provides a feasible advanced method for design and development of CNC machine tool.

Prediction on fatigue life of vehicle's driving axle house based on MSC.Fatigue

The solid model of a commercial vehicle's driving axle house was established with Pro/Engineer Wildfire 2.0. According to FEM theory, the finite element model of this axle house is set up and its stress analysis is performed by FEA software MSC.Nastran. Based on the result of stress analysis, by adopting effective fatigue lifespan prediction method, lifecycle analysis of axle house is conducted by MSC.Fatigue, a professional fatigue analysis system and then fatiguelifespan distribution of the whole axle house body and the lifespan value of most dangerous points are obtained. By comparing the failure position and fatiguelife of the axle house in the rig test, the results show that the prediction result is the same as the one obtained from experiments. Then, the fracture surface of specimenswhich brought on fatigue invalidation in rig test is investigated with scanningelectron microscopy (SEM). Finally, on the basis of the results got from simulation calculation and rig test, the modified design of axle house is presented.

Acrylic fiber spinning PLC control system based on PROFIBUS-DP and MPI

A PLC control system based on PROFIBUS-DP and MPI network has been developed to overcome the shortcomings of the control system in some acrylic fiberproducing lines, which includes closed communication, frequent malfunction, inconvenient maintenance and high cost. This system drives the electromotor throughtransducer controlled by PLC. Monitoring communication network adopts MPI and field bus employs PROFIBUD-DP. After field installation and adjustment, the whole system runs stably and with high reliability, and as well it has high opennessand is convenient to monitor.

Improved design of aeroconcrete steam autoclave

For stream autoclave, an key equipment in producing silicate production of building material industry, its corrosion is the toughest problem obsessing the whole industry. To solve this problem, the reason of generating corrosion is analyzed and several kinds of coats are designed. And then arcspray aluminum compound coat is validated to the most effective one through experiments. Moreover, the thickness range of this coat and method to enhance its fine and close are provided, which has been demonstrated in Xuzhou Aeroconcrete Plant Jiangsu, China. Finally, The authors point out that arc spray aluminum compound coatcan prevent corrosion, reduce thickness, increase its service life and save manufacture materials, and then make the service life of autoclave accord with thatof aeroconcrete assembly life.

Research on construction of color design system based on neural network and genetic algorithm

Due to advancement in science, development of technology and enhancement of customer's awareness, product lifecycle are greatly shortened and how to help designers master customer's feeling and escalate effectiveness of product innovation in time cannot be ignored. Starting from the theory and knowledge of Kansei engineering, object product, phone fee recoder, is divided into various color components. Then, a poll system designed by color combination theory is made. According to the theory of back-propagation neural network, customer's evaluation is simulated and finally, the optimal color combination through genetic algorithm iteration is gained. The results indicate that this system can carried out successfully with the abovementioned method. A decision support system for evaluation of color combination can be established by employing the results of thisresearch to accelerate design flow. And assistant designer can perform product color design effectively and objectively.
