With the theory of QFD, the relationship matrix between customer performance measures, the relationship matrix between performance measures requirements and processes established, respectively. Based on these matrices, the relationship matrix between custome rquirements and processes is identified which establihes the direct relationship between the customer requirements and the processes implementing the requirements. An algorithm to determinethe priority of the processes to be improved is also proposed. The method is proven by a casestudy.

The Voronoi diagram of connected domain is widely used. The generally adopted algorithms,such as divide-and-conquer method, are difficult to realize. A new method to establish free boundary connected domain Voronoi diagram is introduced based on the algorithm for determining the medial axis of an convex polygon. Through finding the bisectors of neighboring boundary elements, points of intersection of neighboring bisectors are obtained.Point of intersection with the minimum distance is used to realize the growing of Voronoi diagram. The entire simply-connected domain Voronoi diagram is established in this way. The Voronoi diagram merging algorithm for inner and outer boundary of multi-connected domain is also introduced.

It is a new idea to use magnetic particle clutch in the design for torsion fatigue tester. The load of tester can be adjusted and controlled. The paper gives operating principle of torsion fatigue tester and recommends its application. Error of tester torque is not more than 3% by testing made with torsion fatigue tester.

Stepping motor is the most popular executive component in high performance textilemachinery, especially in the computerised embroidery machine. Five-phase hybrid stepping motordrivers in the computerised embroidery machine have a good many defects such as low frequency torque vibrations, high frequency inadequate torque output and multi-power supplies. Combinedwith theoretical analysis, this paper gives a reformative driver based on analysis of present stepping motor drivers. This driver uses single power supply and three-phase excitation and givesPWM output. The design improves the stability in low frequency and the torque-frequency characteristic in high frequency and it has been applied in the computerised embroidery machine and has achieved a real good effect.

The design facing to manual assembly and easy—maintenance is a basic premise of designing and manufacturing special equipment in individual or small serial requirement.The design,consisting of both concurrent step design process and designing criterion which is composed of function norm ,information norm and circulation norm ,is introduced.The tapered leaf spring mill,which is a especial equipment used to manufacture automobile tapered leaf spring,is introduced systematically as a example including its function and structure as well 8S the design criteron used in design process.The mill,which is composed of modular structure and is convenient for manual assembly and maintenance out of production line,has been used successfully in practical production.

Static characteristics of digital servo cylinder designed by using helix mechanism have been analyzed.In order to make the structural parameters more compatible with characteristics,an analysis based on simulation was conducted by utilizing Matlab.According to the results obtained,the effects of various structural parameters on stiffness and zero position leakage were discussed,a modification system was designed and some proper structural parameters were determined preliminarily.As a result,under these structural parameters,the digital cylinder possesses a good static characteristics,especially near to a full load,its characteristics and application value are better than those of the conventional one.

The friction coefficient between the tool-chip plays an important role in high-speed cutting.The friction factor maybe very difficult to be ascertained because of the complexity of contact between tool and chip.In order to explore the influence of friction coefficient between tool and chip,the orthogonal metal cutting process under different friction coefficient is analyzed with the finite element method under plane strain conditions and the tool moves with a very high speed.The M[ises stress distribution.the distortion of nodes distortion on the surface of the machined workpiece are obtained with different friction coefficient using a general—purpose finite element computer code-ABAQUS/STANDARD.At last,the author educes some conclusions that the co-efficient between tool and chip has a very important effect for the metal cutting and high-speed cutting can improve the cutting efficiency and machine precision by foregoing analyse.

As the analysis on the temperature deformation of over-long frame structures is usually focused on the basis of material’S linear mechanic performance,the standard finite-element method strategy,based on the concepts of smeared cracking constitutive law ,is used in the version implemented in the commercial code ABAQUS by HKS.A representative over-long frame structure’S deformation under ramp temperature reduction is taken into account in order to simulate the cracking of concrete slab with proper numerical finite-element mode1.At the saree time,a preliminary study about the concrete slab prestressed with unbonded tendons is also performed.Through the analysis,some significant information can be obtained for designing and further study:(i)the temperature stress does an important roll in simulating concrete slab’s cracking process and has distinct nonlinear characteristic;(ii)concrete smeared cracking model can grasp structure’S global mechanic performance.

To make the VAV system controlling highly efficient,energy-saving and comfortable,the authors study the ratio-control of fresh-air and indoor-air,the temperature-control and humidity-control,the frequency-control of fans in the four-pipe-system.From the point of view of intelligent building controlling we analyse the conversion condition of all kinds of work-point by using enthalpy-humidity chart,adjusting the wind-system or the water-system to meet the demand of air-condition design.Some suggestions for the control of transition seasons are presented in the end.
