Stream media technology based network embedded video monitoring system

The video monitoring system is an important assistant device in our life. A network embedded video monitoring system based on the stream media technology is presented and developed. The system is designed of the embedded processor, the DSP processor and embedded Linux operating system. The video compression part of the system is based on the MPEG4 algorithm via the DSP processor, while multicasting the real time video stream to the network based on the stream media technology via embedded processor. The system design, hardware design, software design, and the practical operating results are discussed in detail.

Based on the feature of peg-hole assembling and the theory of decentralized autonomous control, the paper proposes conversely decentralized autonomous control algorithm. It can be used to program the movement of robot manipulators which avoids tedious process of computing pseudoinverse and simplifies the control on robot manipulators. The validity of the proposed algorithm is also confirmed by simulating a 4 DOF planar robot manipulators.

For solving the problem why position error between measured profile and its measurement reference influences evaluation precision in measuring the plane line profile error, a new method for calculating the plane line profile error based on genetic algorithm and autospotting has been proposed. It used spline function to simulate ideal profile and used genetic optimum algorithm to obtain the best optimum solution in overall. Its distinguishing characteristic is that the position of measured profile can be adjusted automatically to adapt to an ideal profile during the process of calculation. As a result, the position error between the measured profile and its measurement reference is separated and eliminated from the profile error. Example counting verified this result. This method is simple and clear, it has features of high precision and fast convergent speed and popularizing application easily and so on.

A new cost-tolerance model, which closely links with real technological process, is built using fuzzy neural networks. The influence of process factor on the manufacturing cost is analyzed and a fuzzy process factor is introduced using fuzzy mathematics principle. Then fuzzy neural network is applied to modeling of production cost-tolerance model. The inputs of the network are tolerance and fuzzy process factor and the output is manufacturing cost.

According to ISO6358 which is concerned with the definition of two parameters, that is sonic conductance C and critical pressure ratio b for flow characteristics of pneumatic components, calculating methods of C & b for air tube are derived from theoretical analysis. And simulation is also conducted based on the theoretical analysis. Then a set of fitting formulae for the calculation of C & b are obtained from the simulation results by the use of LSM method. The formula are validated by experiments.

A development model of collaborative design on mass customization based on architecture of J2EE is presented.

In order to achieve a satisfactory surveillance area and some highly concerned areas inside,this paper introduces a generate and test(GT) arithmetic, which can solve the problem of how optimally to locate the different radars in a radar network according to optimally radar positions and efficiency of all kinds of radars. If done, the surveil system can prevent low-altitude penetration.

Biochip scanning and analyzing system is quite important to the prevalence of biochip. The traditional system has problems such as complex architecture,unefficient performance, huge figure. However, DSP is an ideal choice for real-time applications. The use of DSP/BIOS simplifies the DSP software design. After presenting the whole system architecture, the article describes the DSP software design in detail, including the DSP/BIOS application, the process of boot, scanning control, image processing and communication with MPC823E. Now this system runs robustly.

Domestic Electronic jacquard has gained a big market for its low price and excellent performance.  Electronic jacquard detector, which can test the quality of jacquard, is a must during the jacquard producing. It can improve the quality and competence, reduce the cost and maintenance work. A kind of detector is designed to test the jacquard with needle numbers of 1152/1344/2688 and it has been put into use and gained a good effect.

For simplifying design on opposite-center type of crank-rocker mechanism, the synthetic equations were established by analytics through analysis of the relationship among geometrical parameters of crank-rocker mechanism. And calculating formulations about transmission angle and rocker angle of oscillation φ and unit length were derived from its equations under condition of extreme position angle θ=0. Finally design curve on satisfying minimum transmission angle was drawn by means of drawing points. This curve can show directly relationship among every parameter and can provide a kind of method for designing opposite-center type of crank-rocker mechanism.

The power consumption reduction is one of the core techniques in designing the portable intelligence instruments based on embedded microprocessor unit (EMPU). Through the case in designing the portable ambulatory ECG monitor based on EMPU, this paper presents the power consumption reduction methods and their application. These methods include electronic device selection; system design by the concept of minimum set of components, redundancy-restraining technique, software application for hardware; appropriate structure of memory; proper pattern of decoder and A/D converter working; proper pattern of system working and program running. Experimental results indicates that it reduces power consumption effectively. And it can be applied to the design of other portable intelligence instruments based on EMPU.

With the popularization of the public IC card telephone, the dial, charging functions' test of the telephone attracts people's attention more and more. This paper shows a king of the public IC card telephone detector based on the microprocessor plus the peripheral function module, both formed the hardware of the IC card telephone detector. Then design the corresponding software of the structure according to the function module. This detector have been used by some telecom bureau, which takes convenience to the telecom bureau and benefits to the consumer. Its application proved that the detector had these characteristics, for example, friendly interface, simple operations, the full functions and convenient detection.

The building of Zhoushan administrative center is a connected twins tall building. By using some different treatments of the connector's support, the author checks the effect on the structure's whole anti-seismic property. Combining the computation of the project and the real treatment, the author puts forward several problems for reference while design the similar connected structures.
