Experiment on seismic performance of spatial beam to corner column connection with T-stub

Quasi-static experiment was taken for beam to column joint models which connected by T-stubs with taking the following models as research objects: two beam to column spatial corner joints models connected with T-stubs, a beam-column spatial rigid corner joint model, and two beam to column plane joints models connected with T-stubs.Bearing capacity, strain development, failure mode, hysteretic performance and energy dissipation of each joint were obtained; the influence of the minor axis on the major axis was analyzed; the difference of the mechanical properties between the spatial joints and plane joints which connected by T-stub were investigated. Results show that under low cyclic loading, the spatial effect of the corner column joints is obvious and the effect of the minor axis on the major axis can not be neglected, while the spatial influence factors should be taken into account.
