A Brief Introduction of Journal of Zhejiang University (Engineering Science)

“Journal of Zhejiang University (Engineering Science)” is an academic journal directed by Zhejiang University and under the charge of Ministry of Education. Its predecessor was “Journal of Zhejiang University (Natural Science)”, which started publication in 1956. After the establishment of new Zhejiang University, it was changed to “Journal of Zhejiang University (Engineering Science)” in order to fully reflect and show superiority of engineering science of Zhejiang University. The task of “Journal of Zhejiang University (Engineering Science)” is to reflect the latest achievements in scientific research of high quality and high standard from various research institutes and respective schools and departments in Zhejiang University, and to promote academic exchange at home and abroad.  

 “Journal of Zhejiang University (Engineering Science)” is included in many important data retrieval systems at home and abroad. Overseas: EI Compendex, CA, SA, ISPEC，AJ, ZBIMATH, CSA, JST, and etc. Domestic: CNKI, China Science Citation Database (CSCD), Chinese Academic Journal Comprehensive Evaluation Database (CAJCED), Chinese Journal of Science and Technology Database, Chinese Science Abstracts, and etc. “Journal of Zhejiang University (Engineering Science)” was selected into “The Highest International Impact Academic Journals of China” and “The Array of China Periodicals”, and won the “Chinese University Sci-Tech Periodicals Prize” and the title of “Journal of Double Effects”.

“Journal of Zhejiang University (Engineering Science)” mainly publishes academic papers on Computer Science and Engineering, Information and Electronic Engineering, Optical Electronic Engineering, Industrial Control and Automation, Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Biological Engineering, Polymer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Civil Engineering and Architecture, Mechanics, Environmental Engineering and research on the integration of science and engineering.
