Abstract( 1079 )   HTML( 0 )     PDF(119KB)( 1127 )
Appropriate product design methodology is the guarantee of increasing the recycling possibility of discarded products. This paper discusses the relations between product design and recyclability of discarded prducts as well as the choosing of the green product designs. Meanwhile, the paper suggests the green product re designing method through evaluation on recyclability of the products at designing stage.

J.Wupping , HUANG Jing-Yuan, GE Zhong-Min
Chinese Journal of Engineering Design, 2000, 7(1): 14-18.   https://doi.org/1006-754X(2000)01-0014-05
Abstract( 635 )   HTML( 0 )     PDF(542KB)( 750 )
Successful product solutions are developed on the basis of customer needs. The methodical derivation of customer requirements and its integration in the product development process is decisive for success or failure of new products. Attaining the goal to be customer deriven means to analyse what customers require and if they are willing to pay for it. An effective evaluation of customer needs allows suitable conclusions for product features and for the product structure.

HUANG Guang-Long, YU Zhong-Hua, WU Zhao-Tong
Chinese Journal of Engineering Design, 2000, 7(1): 19-22.   https://doi.org/1006-754X(2000)01-0019-04
Abstract( 660 )   HTML( 0 )     PDF(188KB)( 893 )
The rational preferences aggregation axioms of Multi attribute and Multi evaluator are discussed. The quasilinear weighted means conforming all these axioms is analyzed.A Multi-attribute and Multi evaluator evaluation method is set forth based on quasilinear weighted means . At last, it proves the method is reasonable through the example of evaluating material selection of load cell.

Chinese Journal of Engineering Design, 2000, 7(1): 23-26.   https://doi.org/1006-754X(2000)01-0023-04
Abstract( 647 )   HTML( 0 )     PDF(273KB)( 984 )
A technique of assembly simulation, which is based on the operation models, is presented. The paper considers the assembly operation models as carriers of assembly process information of products. And information such as assembly operation, assembly tools and fixers is integrated in a unified model. This paper combines the environment of product assembly and the procedures of assembly to realize a high level assembly simulation. The algorithm that this paper presents has been applied to the DMAS developed by and gets satisfying results.

E.Kolev , K.Zimmermann , MAO Qian-De, LIU Yao-Yi-;
Chinese Journal of Engineering Design, 2000, 7(1): 27-30.
Abstract( 608 )   HTML( 0 )     PDF(241KB)( 1027 )
Vibration characteristics of a complex system directly to influence is a current problem for engineers.Since a manual variation of the system parameters is enormously complex and only conditionally successful,a computer aided method is suggested for the improvement of the system performance. After the formulation of appropriate criteria takes place the optimization of the system with the Finite Element Software ANSYS.The realizable regions of constructional parameters such as mass, stiffness, damping etc. and the desired vibration characteristics of the system e.g. desired frequencies, amplitudes and fading times will be given by the engineer as input for the optimization. The reorganization of the system on the basis of the mechanical model is realized by an optimization algorithm. By the example of a coordinate measuring machine the efficiency of the method is demonstrated.
Modular Fixture Design Automation Based on Theory of Generalized Mapping
XU Zhi-Gang
Chinese Journal of Engineering Design, 2000, 7(1): 31-36.
Abstract( 721 )   HTML( 0 )     PDF(268KB)( 1040 )
This paper investigates the theories and application of modular fixture design automation. Under the guidance of the theory of generalized mapping,a top-down fixture design automation software hax been developed. On the analysis of the fixturing characteristics of workpiece, the design requirement is extracted. The process of Function-Form Mapping relationship is comprehensively analysed and reconstitution of the conceptual fixture structure is realized. And the theory and methodology is lastly exemplified, where a new approach of fixture design automation is explored.

M.Wagner , DING Pei-Fan, CHEN Wei
Chinese Journal of Engineering Design, 2000, 7(1): 37-41.
Abstract( 803 )   HTML( 0 )     PDF(204KB)( 1041 )
For the determination of the life expectation of welded components by means of the structural stress approach comparatively simple finite element calculations are carried out to determine the relevant stresses. This fact is especially an advantage in practical applications. However, exact guidelines to build the finite element meshes have to be constituted. The examined design detail is especial critical in this respect. Therefore an alternative method to define the structure of the finite element meshes is described. The results yielded with the notch stress approach according to Radaj are regarded in comparison.Fatigue tests are used to check the calculated results.

Abstract( 546 )   HTML( 0 )     PDF(244KB)( 842 )
A new technique by computer has been used to t race fatigue growth of surface crack of out-corner of cylindrical pressure vessel nozzles by using the methods of 1/ 42displacement and finite element . The result s show that the rate of the growth of each point on the surface crack is connected with the place of crack and the st ructure of nozzle ,and it s steady shape is some of complex curve.

Abstract( 567 )   HTML( 0 )     PDF(101KB)( 1080 )
The tension cont rol to a loosening reel winded by the flexible belt is a large time - variable problem. Based upon the analysis of the regular cont rol system ,a design of the nonlinear variable st ructure cont rol is proposed which is guite cheep and easy to realize in the practice. It is shown that this system owns good properties to the system statics and dynamics.
