Fatigue Strength of Welded Constructional Details—the Structural Stress Approach in Case of Plane Components with Welded Side Gussets

借助结构应力设计方案预估焊接零件寿命时 ,采用一种比较简单的有限元计算方法确定起决定作用的应力。在计算实践中恰好证明了这种方法的优点。然而为编制有限元网格一定要确立明确的方针。在这方面 ,供研究的设计结构至关重要。为此还介绍了另一种编制有限元网格的方法。为了进行比较 ,研究了按照Radaj的缺口应力集中方法的结果。疲劳强度实验有助于检验计算结果。

Abstract  For the determination of the life expectation of welded components by means of the structural stress approach comparatively simple finite element calculations are carried out to determine the relevant stresses.This fact is especially an advantage in practical applications.However,exact guidelines to build the finite element meshes have to be constituted.The examined design detail is especial critical in this respect.Therefore an alternative method to define the structure of the finite element meshes is described.The results yielded with the notch stress approach according to Radaj are regarded in comparison.Fatigue tests are used to check the calculated results.
