Optimization of Vibration Systems During the Design Phase

Abstract  Vibration characteristics of a complex system directly to influence is a current problem for engineers.Since a manual variation of the system parameters is enormously complex and only conditionally successful,a computer aided method is suggested for the improvement of the system performance.After the formulation of appropriate criteria takes place the optimization of the system with the Finite Element Software ANSYS.The realizable regions of constructional parameters such as mass,stiffness,damping etc. and the desired vibration characteristics of the system e.g. desired frequencies, amplitudes and fading times will be given by the engineer as input for the optimization. The reorganization of the system on the basis of the mechanical model is realized by an optimization algorithm. By the example of a coordinate measuring machine the efficiency of the method is demonstrated.

设计阶段中振动系统的优化——结构设计和计算的集成

有目的地影响复合系统的振动特性是开发工程师的现实任务。由于用手动的方式改变系统参数非常麻烦 ,而且仅能有限地获得成功 ,因此推荐采用计算机辅助的方法改变系统的性能。在列出相应的准则公式后 ,采用有限元程序ANSYS将系统进行优化。此时结构参数的可实现范围如质量、刚度和阻尼等 ,以及要求的振动特性 (如固有频率、振幅和衰减时间 )由工程师作为优化的输入给出。建立在力学模型基础上的系统的新结构由优化算法实现。一个坐标测量仪的实例证明了该方法的有效性。
