Quality navigation system for product manufacturing life in SMMEs |

Abstract The principle of quality navigation for product manufacturing life was proposed to solve the problems such as high rework rate and poor quality management in Small-and Medium-sized Manufacturing Enterprises (SMMEs), a navigation system was built based on the proposed quality navigation principle, lean manufacturing and process management. The system is consisted of three modules: quality management operation, quality data collection and feedback, real-time quality monitor and control with which the quality state of products in their manufacturing life can be analyzed and visualized real-time, so that the quality problems can be found and deleted in time. A case study in a small-sized automobile motor manufacturer shows that the preventive quality management was realized with the quality navigation system, so that the product quality is improved and the competitiveness of the enterprise is enhanced.

中小制造企业产品制造生命周期质量导航系统
针对中小制造企业产品制造过程中普遍存在的返工多、质量管理水平低下的问题,提出面向产品制造生命周期的质量导航原理,并以精益生产方式和过程管理思想为指导,建立相应的系统.系统的主要功能包括质量管理运作、信息检测与反馈、实时监视与控制3个部分,借助该系统,可以对产品在制造生命周期中的质量状态进行实时分析和可视化,以便及时发现质量问题和消除质量隐患.在某小型汽车电机生产企业开展的案例研究表明,借助所开发的质量导航系统能够实现预防性的质量管理,从而改善产品质量,增强企业的竞争力.
