Spatial effects of urban travel using cellular signaling data

Abstract  

The OD travel flow spatial autocorrelation model using cellular signaling data in Hangzhou was established, through constructing the spatial weight matrix based on travel time between Traffic Analysis Zones (TAZs), in order to reveal the influence factors and spatial effect of travel flows between TAzs,and understand mechanism of travel flow generation and evolution from the demand perspective. Results show that the permanent population, quantities of high-grade commercial centers and bus stations are positively correlated with travel flows, while the number of origin’s high-grade hospitals has negative correlation. The distance of travel feeling distance, as expected, is negatively correlated with travel flows, which means the demand is estimated to decrease with the travelfeeling distance. The application of the spatial autocorrelation model shows that the origin dependence, destination dependence and OD dependence are all significant to travel flows. The field data verifiesthe necessity to consider the spatial interdependence.

基于手机信号令数据的居民出行空间效应

为了揭示居民出行的影响因素和空间效应,从需求源把握交通流的产生和演变规律,以杭州市移动手机信令数据为基础,根据交通小区间的通行时间构建了空间权重矩阵,建立居民OD出行量影响的空间自相关模型,分析边际效应和政策涵义.结果表明,常住人口、高等级商业数量以及公交车站的数量与出行量呈正相关,而起点高等级医院数量和居民出行感知距离与出行量呈负相关.随着起点高等级医院数量增多,该区域的居民出行量下降;随着区域间感知距离的增加,区域间的出行量减少.起点自相关、终点自相关和OD空间自相关都对出行量具有重要影响,实测数据验证了考虑空间效应的必要性.
