In order to achieve zero voltage switch (ZVS) of LLC over the entire input voltage range, and promise full load output, an optimal design method of resonator was presented. Different from the resonant point design method, this method finds the low frequency full output(LF) loaded point, which is the most difficult to achieve ZVS. On the basis of the LF loaded point, this method finds the largest magnetizing inductance to achieve ZVS of full range, and optimizes the entire resonator. Compared with the traditional design method, the optimal method improves the whole efficiency in meeting the requirements of full load output with full range input. The advantage of this method is more obvious in the case of high voltage input.
