The compound stabilized agent consisting of phosphogypsum and quicklime was utilized to stabilize the dredged sludge with different initial water content. The stabilized effect of phosphogypsum as the stabilization additive was analyzed, as well as the feasibility of phosphogypsum to be partial substitution of the quicklime. Experimental results show that phosphogypsum can dramatically increase the early strength of stabilized sludge equivalent to the incremental of drier. The unconfined compressive strength increasing rate of limephosphogypsumstabilized sludge is higher than that of the limestabilized sludge with the increasing curing period. The permeability of limephosphogypsumsolidified sludge is similar to the limesolidified sludge’s in early stage, and it decreases with the increasing curing period.
