Variant design of tolerance model based on tabular layouts of article characteristics

Abstract  

The result of variant design is usually a geometry model without tolerance information, so it is difficult to integrate seamlessly with process model, manufacturing model, measurement model, and so on. Tolerance information was analyzed according to the characteristics of variant design, and was classified into three categories: fixed tolerance value class, fixed tolerance code class and rule-based tolerance value class. Then tabular layouts of article characteristics (SML) with tolerance information were established. A method of generating tolerance master model based on SML was addressed, and a variant design process based on SML was proposed. The tolerance variant design method based on SML was applied to an industry steam turbine. Results show that the method can improve the efficiency of getting model with tolerance.

基于事物特性表的公差模型变型设计

现有的变型设计结果通常是不带有公差信息的几何模型,因此很难与工艺模型、制造模型、测量模型等无缝集成.结合变型设计的特点,对公差信息做了面向变型设计的分析,将公差信息分为固定公差类、固定公差代号类和规则公差类,建立了带有公差信息的事物特性表.提出了基于事物特性表的公差主模型的建立方法,分析了基于事物特性表的公差变型设计过程.以工业汽轮机汽缸的公差变型设计为例进行了验证,结果表明,该方法可有效地提高公差模型的生成效率.
