Dynamic response of deep groove ball bearing with point defects |

Abstract Point defects have significant effects on the life of rolling element bearings and the dynamic properties of whole machines. In order to analyze the response of rolling element bearings considering point defects, unilateral contact model, elastohydrodynamic lubrication theory and multibody method were applied to develop a dynamic model of deep groove ball bearing. The dynamic responses of inner race, outrace and cage were simulated. The impact phenomena between race and rolling elements were analyzed in the process of balls passing through the point defect. The results show that the peak frequencies in frequency domain are relevant to the characteristic frequency, which agrees with the rules of fault diagnosis for rolling element bearing.This rolling element bearing model can be applied to fault feature extraction and fault diagnosis.

存在点缺陷的深沟球轴承的动力学响应
点缺陷对滚动轴承的使用寿命和整机性能有着显著的影响.基于单边接触模型和弹流润滑理论,分析了存在点缺陷的滚动轴承的响应特征.采用多体动力学方法建立了考虑点缺陷的滚动轴承动力学模型,对外圈存在点缺陷的滚动轴承的内圈、外圈和保持架等的动力学响应进行了模拟.分析了在滚动体通过缺陷的动力学过程中滚动体和外圈产生的冲击现象,发现频率响应中的峰值频率与外圈的特征频率相关,这与滚动轴承故障诊断结论相吻合.提出的滚动轴承动力学模型可以用于点缺陷故障特征的提取和滚动轴承的故障诊断.
