In traditional mechanical design, design process excessively depends on designer's creativity and professional competence, and lacks systematic application of current information. The related mechanical design spirit is obtained by utilizing patent analysis to mine out mechanical design concept and yielding the functional design from know-how to know-why. This methodology complies with the ideathat design level is enhanced by systematic mechanism design concept bymining quantitative information for abstracting creative mechanism design regulations, and then these regulations can be induced into concept design to gain feasible mechanism design. Thus designers can exploit existing mechanisms more efficiently to obtain creative mechanism design and grasp the inner features of mechanism design. Moreover, designers can achieve feasible design more effectively and avoid resource waste and then shorten the developing period.

Aiming at the problem of system flexibility deficiency caused by the ubiquitoustight coupling of “Task-Resource” in current manufacture resource model in network manufacture environment, a capacity—based model of manufacture resource is presented and a three-layered process model of “Task—Capacity—Resource” is established, which is described in XML format. On this basis, a task definition model oriented to manufacture feature is also set up.

A method based on sharing interface is proposed to implement synchronal cooperative design independent from operation and application system. The proposed coordinate mapping solves the problem of order distortion; the partial refreshing strategy lowers the network load during cooperative process; dynamical images interpolation strategy enhances the real-time capability of synchronal cooperative design. This method effectively solves the key difficulties on environment heterogeneity, cooperative real-time, and synchronicity of sharing interfaces in the field of cooperative design.

In modern mechanical electric product design, agile action is indispensable. With the development of virtual reality technology, cooperative virtual product design becomes a key subject of CAD/CAM. Combined with Cooperative Virtual Product Design, a novel virtual environment awareness architecture based on Multi-Agent is set up. A discrete system neuralnetwork algorithm is put forward and the implementation mode of user-defined virtual awareness architecture issettled by taking active multi-cursor as an example. This architecture improves the awareness capacity of cooperative virtual design as well as work efficiency.

An intelligent workflow model based on Workflow Reference Model as well as a general, agile and adaptive workflow control method—Arc Line Control Method are proposed. This method requires only a few simple elements, such as Condition Sets and Flow Direction, but can solve the transition problem of different process patterns and also can be easily explained and controlled by engine. Additionally, research on model, principle, method and implementation of Workflow Intelligent Handle is carried out and Task Processing Engine (Arbitration)as well as Task Processing Information Library (TPIL) is put forward. Workflow Intelligence is implemented by task processing ability of arbitration and the integrality and expandability of TPIL. Selecting optimal execution method and processingautomatic handling of tasks described with natural language are realized through global search, which enhances and reinforces the workflow intelligence.

Disassembly modeling is the basis of disassembly sequence planning and the key of green design. During the conventional process of disassembly sequence planning, with the increase of the number of parts, disassembly sequences mayexplode exponentially. To solve this problem, the paper proposes a new method for disassembly modeling based on modular design. Firstly, directed and nod-directed graph concepts in graphic theory are applied to represent constraint relations between parts-components in assembly. Then, directed and non-directed graph are combined to hybrid graph and then hybrid disassembly model is established. Secondly, sub-assembly is generated by employing part-united rule in modular design. The hybrid model for modular design in disassembly sequences planning is implemented by combining modular design with hybrid model. This model can effectively solve the “exploding problem” aroused by edges and vertexes in graph theory.Finally, computer box is taken as an example to demonstrate the validity of this model.

Through systematically defining the constructing elements of coding system, this paper pointed out the drawbacks of current part classification and coding systems and established flexible classification and coding system for masscustomization. Additionally, flexible definition based on chain and hiberarchy was proposed and corresponding coding system had been developed, which implemented auto-coding of parts through coding tree. This system had been effectively applied in one motorcycle-hydraulic-disk brake factory in Zhejiang Province.

System analysis on chatter of bogie and brake system of vehicles under the condition of low speed brake was conducted. Through research on property curve of friction pair-wheel and brake shoe during braking, and dynamic propertyof brake system, the conclusion was drawn that negative property curve was the radical reason to generate chatter and chatter could be restrained or even eliminated by strengthening the connection stiffness of brake and bogie frame.  
Effects of operating condition parameters on distribution of friction temperature field on brake disc

Vehicle brake disc is a key components in vehicles. In the process of emergent brake, relations among brake press, parameters of the entire vehicle and adhesive coefficient between tire and road surface influence the distributionof brake disc friction temperature field greatly. Through FEA simulation, effects of different brake operating conditions on distribution of transient friction temperature field is discussed. The results show that ignoring change of friction heat flow intensity will bring large deviation to temperature field simulation. Initial kinetic energy of brake and the process of friction increasing are the key factors to influence temperature field of disk surface.

Aiming at the application of industrial real-time database in a petrifaction enterprise, an interface scheme among a real-time database, DCS and Web Windows is presented. This scheme is developed in Windows 2000 server and applies the technologies of multi-thread, anonymous pipe and Winsock. Long-term operation demonstrates that this scheme is reliable, stable and valid, which has achieved design objectives.
Creative design for training device of tank gun shooting

In order to meet the requirement of some tank gun shooting training with automatic bullet-loading system, and simultaneously taking actual situation of such armament into account, on the basis of the principles of utility and validity, this new device referred adopts some innovative design suchas electric control, spiral rifle bolt blockage, revolver-drum for bullet-providing and bullet-gathering, and so on, by which automatically work inside boreis implemented. It also fulfills the design requirements of shooting speed of tank gun and has reliable rifle bolt blockage and good adaptability as well. Furthermore, this device can gather cartridges in order. The whole device has the advantages of simple structure and easy control, which fully satisfy the design requirements of training device of tank gun shooting.

On the basis of force analysis on grinding wheel loading mechanism, structural optimization of grinding machine is carried out. Aiming at the disadvantages of present loading system applying proportional relief valve or servo valve, loading system with 3-way proportional pressure reducing valve is proposed.By simulation and practical application, it can be concluded that taking this means can acquire better grinding effects.

Temperature is an important factor affecting warm drawing. Warm drawing process of stainless steel cup is simulated by FEM software PAM-STAMP. The influence of temperature on warm drawing is analyzed, which provides foundation for the establishment of warm drawing process of cup.
