Research on new circular friction device in guide vane

Abstract  A new type of circular friction device, applied in gate operating mechanism of water turbine to provide overload protection for guide vane, is presented. It adopts a new preload structure (FROMO® preloadnut). Through compare with structures of break pin protection device and end plane protection device and analysis of experimental data, the results indicate that this device is simple and convenient in setting friction torque, which has good consistency and accuracy , and makes the mechanism have good performance of reapplication.

新型圆周摩擦活动导叶保护装置的研究

介绍了一种新型圆周摩擦保护装置,应用于水轮机导水机构中,对活动导叶起过载保护作用。该装置采用一种新型预紧结构(FROMO®预紧螺母),通过与剪断销保护装置、端面摩擦保护装置的结构比较及试验数据的分析,表明其摩擦力矩的设定简单而且方便,一致性高,准确性好,并使机构具有良好的重复使用性能。
