Numerical simulation and improvement research of evaporation in
90° cross angel of corrugated passages

Abstract  Numerical simulation of mass transfer process of evaporative cooling by utilizing CFX was investigated. Calculation and analysis took flow-route with 90° cross angle as model and calculation adopted Shear Stress Transport (SST) turbulence model to seek solution of 3D Navier-Stokes equation. Through simulation, interior humidity distribution in cross-corrugated passages and its characteristics were described. Finally, 3D humidity field structure of cross-corrugated passages was gained and optimization suggestion was raised for this type of flow-route.

交错波纹通道内蒸发传质过程模拟及优化方案

采用流体分析软件CFX对蒸发降温湿帘的交错波纹通道进行了传质的数值模拟,计算分析以90°波纹交角的流道为模型,计算采用SST(shear stress transport)湍流模型求解三维Navier-Stokes方程。通过数值模拟完成了对通道内湿度分布状态的揭示,得到了交错波纹通道的三维湿度场结构,并在技术上为该类型流道的优化提出建议。
