Mathematical model for straightness based on DOF variation

Abstract  In most current CAD systems,tolerance is just a text attribute of corresponding object.It isn’t effective for integration of CAD/CAM.How to represent and interpretation of toleranee is very necessary for CAD system.A new method based on D0F variation is purposed for straightness.The mathematical representation of straight line is given based on DOF variation. The limitation condition for modeling of straightness is analyzed systematically.The mathematical models of straightness of different conditions are deduced systematically which give a new interpretation for straightness.By using this model,the semantics of tolerance is exactly represented and can be used by the following processing such as tolerance analysis and tolerance verification.

基于自由变动的直线度公差数学模型

在现有CAD系统中,公差仅是一种符号.而缺乏具体的工程语义,因而不能很好地为下游工作所使用.结合运用自由度和变动理论,先给出了直线基于自由度变动的数学表示方法.系统地分析了直线度公差建模的约束限制条件,推导了不同条件下直线度公差的数学模型.运用该数学模型,可以准确地表示公差语意,并且为下游工作如公差分析、公差验证所使用.
