Continuous Computer Support in the Product Development Process by the Use of Hign Grade Semantic Features

Abstract  The consequent advancement of the feature approach leads to computer aided support of the whole process chain.In this contribution is shown,how computer-aided analyses for the purpose of “Design for X”could be performed already during design,based on high grade semantic features. These aspects will be exemplified by the examination of production and costs-criteria.
