Classifying cultural artifacts knowledge for creative design

Abstract  

Cultural artifacts knowledge for creative design in classification was analyzed through the cross-discipline experts collaborations and iterative methods from industrial design in order to meet the need of cultural artifacts knowledge in cultural creative design field. The classification framework of cultural artifacts on ontology knowledge was built through the specialist consultation, and the classification framework of cultural artifacts on design knowledge was built based on experimental studies. A classification framework of cultural artifacts knowledge for creative design was built in the synthesis of the above two frameworks. The framework integrated cultural artifacts knowledge, design knowledge and computer knowledge. Cultural artifacts knowledge for creative design can be classified into 5 main types, namely basic information, form knowledge, function knowledge, technology knowledge and culture knowledge. An exhibition system of cultural artifacts knowledge base for creative design was built, including knowledge importing function, knowledge presenting function and knowledge retrieval function. To focus on the cultural creative design requirement, cultural artifacts knowledge was interpreted, organized and input into the system according to the classification framework which support designers browsing, searching and using cultural artifacts knowledge in creative design activities. An application example demonstrate that the system can effectively assist designers to design cultural creative products. The classification framework of cultural artifacts knowledge for creative design was verified.

面向创意设计的器物知识分类研究

为了满足文化创意设计领域对于器物知识的需求,从工业设计出发,通过跨领域专家的协同合作以及迭代设计方法,研究创意设计领域中器物知识的分类.通过专家调查建立器物本体知识分类框架,在实验研究的基础上建立器物设计知识分类框架,综合上述两类框架建立面向创意设计的器物知识分类框架.该框架整合了文博知识、创意设计知识和计算机知识.将面向创意设计的器物知识分为基本信息、造型知识、功能知识、技术知识和文化知识5个维度.构建面向创意设计的器物知识展示系统,包括知识录入功能、知识展示功能、知识检索功能等.聚焦文化创意设计需求,按照分类框架将器物知识进行解读、整理和入库,支持文化创意设计师浏览、搜索和运用器物知识开展创意设计活动.通过应用实例证明,该系统能够有效地辅助设计师设计文化创意产品,验证了面向创意设计的器物知识分类框架.
