Abstract AM/FM always appear as a result of the impact in gear fault signal. Morphological demodulation was proposed to extract fault feature. The effect of different morphological operation on signal was analyzed. Considering the characteristic of extracting positive pulse in morphological closing operation, morphological closing operation was used to extract gear fault feature. Demodulation effect of different length linear structure element on simulation and practical gear fault signal were analyzed and compared. The good performance can be achieved when 019 to 021 times length of impact period flat structure element was used to gear fault feature extraction. Simulation and experiment results show that the method of morphological demodulation, which has overcome the shortcoming of choosing filter parameters in envelope demodulation, could extract gear fault feature more effectively than envelope demodulation.

形态解调在齿轮故障特征提取中的应用
针对齿轮故障信号往往由于冲击的存在而产生调制现象的问题,提出采用形态学解调的方法提取齿轮故障特征.在分析不同形态学运算对信号处理结果影响的基础上,结合形态闭运算提取信号正脉冲的特点,采用闭运算对齿轮故障信号进行形态解调以提取故障特征.分析并比较不同长度扁平形结构元素对仿真与实际故障齿轮信号的解调效果,说明当采用长度为019~021倍的齿轮冲击周期的扁平形结构元素进行形态解调以提取故障特征时,可取得较好的效果.仿真与实例证明,形态解调方法不仅克服了包络解调需选择滤波参数的缺点,而且能够更有效地提取齿轮故障特征.
