Purification of rotor axis’s orbit based on morphological wavelet

Aiming at the purification of rotor axiss orbit in turbine generator unit, a novel approach was proposed based on morphological wavelet. As a kind of nonlinear wavelet, morphological wavelet has both the morphological characteristic of mathematical morphology and the multiresolution feature of wavelet. It has good performance in keeping details and resisting noises. Using this method to purify rotor axiss orbit, theres no need to consider spectrum characteristic of vibration signal. And purified rotor axiss orbit could be obtained through threshold denoising for components decomposed by morphological wavelet and reconstruction of processed signal. Compared with traditional Haar wavelet, this method is more effective in purification of rotor axiss orbit when processing data detected. The morphological wavelet algorithm only includes addition, subtraction, maximum and minimum operations, its suitable for online monitor and fault diagnosis of turbine generation unit.
