Simulation and validation of three-dimensional road surface spectrum

Abstract  

By ameliorating the sinusoid superposition method, a new approach to simulate three-dimensional numerically stochastic signals excited by road irregularities was put forward, proceeding from space road spectrum, based on two-dimensional road surface spectrum model. The stochastic road irregularities in any ranks were generated by implementing Matlab software and the time domain model of road surface spectrum was recurred. The simulating theories and mathematic methods for the corresponding model of given spectrum features were analyzed by using the sinusoid superposition method. And road surface spectrum model from the perspectives of power spectral density and coherence was studied. The model can exactly reflect the vertical displacement of variable road pavement and consider the influence between the left and the right wheelpath. The model contains statistic characteristics such as auto power spectral density, cross power spectral density and coherent spectrum. Finally, method can be used to simulate the stochastic road irregularities.

三维路面谱的仿真建模与验证

通过改进谐波叠加法原理,在现有二维路面谱的基础上,从空间路面频率谱出发,将之拓展到三维空间内的路面谱,给出模拟随机路面谱的方法.用Matlab软件建立符合道路功率谱的任意级路面模型,再现了实际路面激励输入的时程样本.研究了用谐波叠加法得到与给定谱特征相对应的模型的模拟原理及其数学方法,并从功率谱密度与相干性角度对仿真路面谱进行了分析研究,证明该三维路面模型能够较好的反映不同级别路面的垂向位移,并且考虑实际车辆运行中左右轮迹之间的相互影响,包含了车辆左右轮迹的自谱、互谱和相干谱的统计特性,能较好的模拟实际路面的不平度高程.
