Levels of PCDD/Fs, HxCBz and PAHs in soil in the vicinity of
a hazardous waste incinerator

为研究危险废物焚烧炉(HWI)对周边环境的影响,检测浙江北部某HWI周边土壤中二恶英(PCDD/Fs)、六氯苯(HxCBz)、多环芳烃(PAHs)的污染水平.土壤中各污染物的质量分数分别为:PCDD/Fs的毒性当量(I-TEQ)为0.53~5.78 pg·g-1、HxCBz为0.15~0.65 ng·g-1、PAHs为0.20~4.49 μg·g-1.目前污染物质量分数属于较低水平,和其他文献报道值相当.PCDD/Fs最高质量分数位于离烟囱最近的采样点(<250 m),同时二恶英质量分数随距离增加呈现一定的降低趋势.利用主成分分析(PCA)研究样品中PCDD/Fs分布的异同,结果表明其他PCDD/Fs污染源及影响因素对该地区土壤中污染物质量分数的作用不可忽视.本研究的数据对未来进一步了解HWI环境影响具有实际意义.


To investigate the environmental impact of a hazardous waste incinerator (HWI), levels of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans (PCDD/Fs), hexachlorobenzene (HxCBz) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) were determined in soil samples collected in the vicinity of a HWI in north of Zhejiang province. The concentration of PCDD/Fs international toxic equivalent (I-TEQ) is in the range of 0.53 to 5.78 pg·g-1, and HxCBz concentration ranges from 0.15 to 0.65 ng·g-1, as well as PAHs value is 0.20 to 4.49 μg·g-1. The levels of contaminants are still low, which are generally comparable with other studies. The highest concentration of PCDD/Fs are observed in the samples close to the chimney (<250 m), and PCDD/Fs concentration slightly decreased with the increasing distance from HWI. By principal component analysis (PCA), it seems other sources of PCDD/Fs and influence factors are not negligible in this studied region. The data of this study is useful for the further assessment of the environmental impact of the HWI in future.
