Technique of breaking current solving of low-voltage molded
case circuit breaker based on multi-step regression

Abstract  

In order to get the short-circuit breaking current of MCCB  and efficiently, a multi-step regression method that combining statistical methods and simulation techniques was proposed.  A minimum breaking unit and its life cycle of circuit breaker  were defined,a  quasi-linear mapping of breaking current and design variables were  built by utilizing the Gaussian kernel function, the initial  regression was operated on the design variables  by adopting the partial least square (PLS) regression method, and  state variables of  the life cycle in  the minimum breaking unit were calculated with  simulation.  A quadratic regression model of breaking current based on state variables was built. According to different periods of break,  different regression models were utilized to provide the source current for simulation,  The results  show that the proposed method  is effective, overcoming the shortcomings of the digital prototyping which is hard to establish the arc model  and those of the physical prototyping  which has high cost and long life cycle.

基于分步回归的低压断路器分断电流求解技术

为快速高效获取低压塑壳断路器(MCCB))短路分断电流,结合统计学方法及仿真分析技术,提出分断电流分步回归求解方法.定义断路器最小分断单元与最小分断单元生命周期,利用高斯核函数构建分断电流与自变量拟线性映射,采用偏最小二乘(PLS)回归方法对最小分断单元设计变量进行初级回归,并结合仿真分析技术,求解最小分断单元生命周期及最小分断单元生命周期内状态变量,构建分断电流关于状态变量二次回归预测模型,针对分断仿真所处不同时期,采用不同电流回归模型提供仿真分析源电流.实例表明,该方法能够有效求解低压塑壳断路器分断电流,克服全数字样机电弧建模困难、全物理样机测试成本高周期长的缺点.
