摘要:

为了考察颜色数量和颜色一致性对图标视觉搜索效率的影响,实验要求21名被试完成一项图标搜索实验,记录被试的行为数据和眼动数据.研究结果发现,颜色数量会影响图标的搜索效率,单色图标在搜索时间和注视次数两项指标上明显小于双色图标与三色图标.颜色一致性对图标搜索效率的影响更加明显,行为数据和眼动数据均表明,颜色不一致时图标搜索效率明显更高,且颜色数量越少,搜索效率越高.以上结果表明,增加颜色数量会在一定程度上降低图标的视觉搜索效率;利用颜色增大图标之间的差异,能够更有效地提升图标的视觉搜索效率.

Abstract:

21 subjects were required to complete an icon visual search experiment in order to investigate the effects of number of color and color consistency on icon visual search efficiency, and their behavior and eye movement data were collected. Experimental results show that number of color can affect the icon’s search efficiency. The search time and number of fixations for single color icons is obviously less than that for double color icons and three color icons. Color consistency has more obvious impact on icon visual search efficiency. The behavior data and eye movement data show that the visual search efficiency is higher when the colors between icons are not consistent. The less the number of color is, the higher the search efficiency is. Results suggest that increasing the number of color can reduce the icon’s visual search efficiency on some level. Using color to enlarge the difference among icons can improve the visual search efficiency more effectively.
