Abstract( 631 )   HTML( 0 )     PDF(658KB)( 738 )
An approach for multi-layers Web information searching for innovative design is presented. This approach includes the following five searching modes: natural language searching, guiding searching, key words searching, catalog searching and random searching. Its primary function is to transfer the designers' close searching range to a relatively loose one (from searching relevant design knowledge to browsing information without direct relevancy), which can inspire designers' creative thought and then help them create new concepts and innovative design ideas. The author has developed software system based on the above principle as a module of computer aided product creative design.

Product and process integration technology embodies in various aspects in manufacture industry. This paper focuses on product and process integration technology for life cycle. Through object-oriented method, the author establishes virtual product model for life cycle describes product information for life cycle and explains the definition of life cycle. Virtual product model is composed of entity object and relation object, which is a dynamic one and can be improved during life cycle. Through object-oriented Petri net (OPN) model, various processes of life cycle are described. Based on virtual product model and OPN model, and combining research of examples, integration technology of product model and process model is discussed. Integration of product and process model provide maintenance to product information reuse and trace.

Abstract( 681 )   HTML( 0 )     PDF(603KB)( 1036 )
Based on two-phase control theory, through establishing relation between design variables and coordinates of key points and relation between coordinates of key points and coordinates of nodes, relation between design variables and coordinates of nodes are acquired. According to the acquired relation, relation between objective function and design variables is constructed. By adopting finite difference method, restraint functions of stress and displacement are gained, and shape optimization model meeting stress, displacement and size restraints is established. The sequential quadratic programming is adopted to solve the shape optimization problem of two-dimensional continuum structures. Taking MSC/Nastran software as solver of structure analysis, program of two-dimensional continuum structures is developed with PCL language. In the process of program implementation, to effectively avoid iterative fluctuation and even divergence, the upper and lower bounds of design variables is adjusted by interval factor. The numerical examples show that the program and algorithm are robust, reliable and efficient.

Abstract( 720 )   HTML( 0 )     PDF(431KB)( 926 )
Solid plate is an important part of die cast machine, and its deformation degree during manufacture has great influence on producing process, especially products' accuracy. In this paper, FEA on design schemes fore-and-aft weight-reduction of solid plate on some large-scale magnesium alloy die cast achine and compare between rigidity and stress distribution of the two design schemes are conducted. Then, suggestions on manufacture process are presented according to evaluations on design schemes after FEA. The entire analysis results indicate that lightening hole on the second design scheme have influence on regidity of solid plate, while the solid plate can still meet design requirements.

Abstract( 753 )   HTML( 0 )     PDF(574KB)( 833 )
Base driving is the supporting technology of electric unmanned ground weapon mobile platform (EUGWMP). Whether batteries, electric motors and the platform body match well will directly influence the tactical and technical performance of EUGWMP. Therefore, it is of extreme importance to study on distribution of dynamic power, torque of inside and outside motors, consumption of dynamic battery power, and discharge efficiency of EUGWMP in running and off-road operation. From the perspective of system, by adopting EUGWMP data simulation system (EUGWMPSim), comprehensive simulation analysis and research on the driving system of the platform are conducted and some valuable conclusions have been drawn, which are beneficial reference for the research of EUGWM.

Abstract( 745 )   HTML( 0 )     PDF(550KB)( 1356 )
Controller for teleoperation with force reflecting telepresence is an important man-machine interface for a master-slave manipulation system; it can convey information such as position, orientation, velocity and force to remote manipulator and receive force/torque information to provide operators force reflecting telepresence. Its performance will directly influence transparency and stability of the teleoperation system, and delivering effective force-reflecting feedback is the key point in research and design. The key technologies in design of controller with force-reflecting telepresence is analyzed and studied. Analysis on performance requirements such as position control accuracy, dynamic characteristic and isotropy of the controller, stability, human system engineering index is conducted and research on structure type, isotropy and structure nonsingularity of structure design is carried out. And then the author compares the characteristics of various driving mode and studies measurement and control system's influence on performance of system. The results indicate that by adopting the structure, which is with mechanical decoupling and unchangeable inertia as operation, the control algorithm will be simplified. The results can be used as a reference for the research and development of this type of device.

Abstract( 703 )   HTML( 0 )     PDF(284KB)( 972 )
Aiming at the domestic condition that the measuring procedure of cleaning-washing machine is fully manual and seriously inefficient, an intelligent measuring DCS-system, based on high performance and high integration of MCU—ATmega16, is developed. Automation of measuring procedure, real-time sampling parameters and concentrated data management of cleaning-washing machines with dual-workstation are implemented. The reliability, productivity and quality management level are greatly enhanced by adopting CS5460A—a special IC for power measuring—to achieve high integration of the electric parameters such as U, I and cosφ.

Abstract( 700 )   HTML( 0 )     PDF(464KB)( 900 )
This paper researches and establishes the calculating formula of the driving force moment to make the tube-insert self-rotate and automatically remove fouling in heat transfer tubes, using the principle of momentum moment and the analyses method of kinematics. The research purpose is to offer a design theory to optimize the structure of the tube-insert with spiral flange. Based on the formula, several tube-inserts of different structure are designed and compared through experiments. The optimal insert (No. D) can be used reliably at low flowing velocity of more than 0.4 m/s. The driving force moment and heat transfer coefficient are increased by 141% and 50% respectively. The flow resistance is in the industry permission.

Chinese Journal of Engineering Design, 2005, 12(3): 172-176.
Abstract( 720 )   HTML( 0 )     PDF(461KB)( 1207 )
By adopting a 2D pneumatic digital servo valve composed of servo spiral mechanism, conventional two-stage pneumatic servo valve structure is simplifie
while its performance is greatly enhanced. Since this 2D pneumatic digital valve is a closed loop mechanism, performance indexes such as stability, speediness, precision and rigidity restrict each other and it is contradictory to improve these performance indexes meantime. Influence on the above performance indexes by changing 2D pneumatic digital structure parameters is increased progressively or decreased progressively non-linearly, non-dully. Therefore, merely changing one certain structure parameter is ineffective on improving its dynamic and static performance. Hence, to improve the comprehensive performance of 2D pneumatic digital valve, further simulation research on its characteristics is necessary. This paper conducts Matlab simulation analysis on static property of 2D pneumatic digital valve.

Chinese Journal of Engineering Design, 2005, 12(3): 185-190.
Abstract( 626 )   HTML( 0 )     PDF(513KB)( 773 )
Some computer aided designing aspects of the latest generation operator's cabin designing were presented. The particular attention to original design concept of the vibration isolation of the operator's cabin was payed. The concept was based on the calculation model of the operating excavator boom together with the operator's cabin boom. Dynamic analysis of the cabin's behaviour were carried out with the usage of the Finite Elements Method. Based on the numerical research results carried out on the virtual model, the design concept and then the cabin's prototype with the vibration isolation system was worked out. The vibration measurements carried out on the real object gave very satisfactory results.
