Abstract Firstly, concept and research situation of digitized mining domestic and overseas are analyzed. And then fundamental meaning of digitized mining is given from three aspects, namely business, data and technique and furthermore theapplication mode and physical system of digitized mining are proposed through the abovementioned aspects. Finally, a three-layered and four-leveled network system is developed and key techniques involved in each layer are described with details. On the basis of this system, scheme and operating situation in some coal mine are given.
