A new evaluation method of product adaptability based on the value engineering

Abstract   Adaptable design is a new design methodology that aims to meet the consumers changing requirements,evaluating product adaptability is the key technology of design process.A new evaluation method of product adaptability based on the value engineering was proposed.This method took the factors such as the total resource consumption,the properties of product and the users use environmental of the products into comprehensive consideration,the ratio of using the product benefits obtained when using it and a series of resources consumed when finishing the task can be used as an evaluation index of adaptability.Then the product with the minimal resource consumption in the whole life cycle can be derived from a number of solutions.Finally,the application effect of the method is shown through the development case study of cylindrical gear milling machines.

基于价值工程的可适应性评价方法

可适应设计是为适应用户需求不断变化、降低资源消耗而提出的一种新的设计方法,对产品的可适应性进行评价是其关键技术之一.在分析可适应设计原则及实现途径的基础上,给出了一种基于价值工程的产品可适应性的评价方法.该方法将产品的资源消耗总量、产品性能以及用户的使用环境等因素综合考虑,将用户使用产品后获得的效益与在完成这一系列任务时所消耗的资源量的比值作为评价产品可适应性的指标.通过该方法,可以选择使用户在产品的全生命周期内资源消耗量最少的产品设计方案.最后,将该可适应性评价方法用于高效圆柱齿轮机床的设计中,验证了该方法的有效性.
