Simulation and analysis for pick cutting rock by LS_DYNA

Abstract  The method to build a finite element model for the pick cutting rock was discussed. The single pick on the cutting heads of longitudinal\|axis roadheaders cutting rock was simulated. The finite element model was built in hypermesh, and solved by the LS_DYNA971. The influences of resistance on different cutting angle and the relations between cutting thickness and cutting energy consumption in different cutting angle were discussed, which were also compared with the commonly used formula of the pick cutting resistance. Simulation results show that bond\|graph modeling approach is feasible and correct. Further more, The optimal pick angle of small wearing and small cutting resistance is found. And the relations between cutting thickness and cutting energy consumption were found. So, the whole result provides a new way in the field of dynamic modeling and simulation for pick cutting rock.

截齿截割煤岩的LS_DYNA仿真模拟

研究应用LS_DYNA软件进行煤岩截割破碎仿真的程式与方法,对悬臂式掘进机截割头上镐形截齿截割煤岩进行仿真模拟,在hypermesh中建立有限元网格模型,调用LS_DYNA971求解器进行求解,研究不同切削角对截齿截割阻力的影响以及切削厚度与比能耗之间的关系,并与常用的截齿截割阻力公式计算结果相比较,仿真结果证明了建模方法的可行性与正确性;最后得出截割阻力最小时的最佳切削角以及切削厚度与截割比能耗之间的关系.研究工作为截齿截割煤岩的动态建模及仿真提供了新思路.
