Study on sofa customization system based on 3DS MAX

Abstract  〗To solve the deficiency in the tradition sofa customization, the 3DS MAX had been introduced into the development progress of sofa customization system. In an example, 3DS MAX was used to create models in the scene and MAX Script was used to write the user interface. User operationed the models in scene through the user interface controls. Customers' customization on the sofa's model, color, and material custom was realized, and space and tea table were assigned to sofa. Finally, user browsed customized effect by the animation. The result indicates that 3DS MAX and MAX Script using in the sofa customization system is feasible. It provides a new tool for furniture customization system．

基于3DS MAX的沙发定制设计系统研究

针对传统家具定制设计的不足,提出利用3DS MAX开发沙发定制设计系统.通过范例,使用3DS MAX在场景中创建模型,并用MAX Script编写用户界面,使用户通过界面控件对场景中的模型进行操作,实现了客户对沙发的款式、颜色和材质定制,并为其添加了空间、配套茶几,最后通过播放动画浏览定制效果.研究结果充分表明将3DS MAX及MAX Script应用于沙发定制设计系统的可行性,为家具定制设计系统的开发提供了新的工具.
