Abstract In concept design phase, selection and evaluation of mechanism are crucial. Two\|level fuzzy synthesis judgments method based on hierarchical analysis method is proposed, which adopts fuzzy statistical cut\|and\|try method to determine degree of membership and utilizes 1-9 scale law in analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to decide weights. This method combines qualitative analysis with quantitative one, and integrates personal experience and judgments with mathematical operation, which circumscribes person's subjective factor into minimum range to guarantee the correctness of evaluation result.
