Abstract Based on the analysis of CAAD(computer-aided arthitecture design) and budgetary-budget estimate integration technology, a new method to realize the integration is put forward, in which the engineering quantity is obtained from the architecture work drawing designed on universal CAD(computer aided design) design platform using automatic or man-machine interactive manner. Finally, some other key technical problems are also discussed.
