Adaptable architecture design of underwater friction stitch welding machine

Abstract  To improve the adaptability and response speed of the underwater friction stitch welding machine for repairing pipe like ocean structures, the adaptable design method is introduced into the design process of friction stitch welding machine. According to the characteristics of function changes on mechanical products, the function structure diagram was extended to show the adaptability of the adaptable product based on the requirement analysis and function analysis. The basic platform, function modules and interfaces were defined combining with the idea of openarchitecture design, so that users could configure modules according to their requirements. A setbased method of adaptability evaluation was developed to evaluate design quality. The underwater friction stitch welding machine was studied which indicated that this method performs well in practicability and operability and could be used in the practice of product design and development.

水下摩擦叠焊机可适应架构设计方法

为提高水下摩擦叠焊机对海洋管状物修复的适应能力和响应速度,将可适应设计引入叠焊机的设计过程中.针对机械产品功能变化的特点,在需求分析和功能分析的基础上,通过扩展功能结构图来表达可适应产品的可适应性;结合开放式架构的设计理念,明确产品的基础平台、功能模块及其接口,以便用户根据需求选择模块配置;提出了基于集合的产品可适应性评价方法,为评价方案的优劣提供量化指标.以水下摩擦叠焊机产品族设计为例,表明该方法具有较好的实用性和可操作性,可用于产品的开发和设计.
