Research on the cognitive of the visual form for the product interaction design

Abstract  The blackbox operation among information products easily leads to the knowledge gap between designers and users. The conclusions gotten from analyzing product forms with visual perception in interaction design could help designers better understand the users behavior. According to research methods of visual perception theories of cognitive psychology, the analysis of product forms for the interaction design got regularity summary and appropriate design principles. And cases were used for the practical application of the theory analysis. Studies have shown that the first element of visual form perception is the spatial characteristics of morphological identification and in the form of minimalism. There exist figureground relationship that can be converted into each other which can help user to get functional changes for their cognitive thinking. According to the characteristics of interactive products, color and shape guides each other purposefully. Context is critical for users to understand the interaction.

产品交互设计中的视觉形态认知研究

信息化产品的黑箱操作容易引发设计师和用户之间的认知鸿沟,在交互设计中对产品形态进行视觉认知分析所得结论可以帮助设计师更好地理解用户行为.运用认知心理学中视知觉的理论研究方法,对交互设计的产品形态进行视觉分析,得出规律性结论,提出了相应的设计原则,并运用案例对理论进行了实际应用分析.研究表明:视觉形态认知的第一要素是形态的空间特征识别,并以极简的形式出现;形态中存在“图”“底”关系转化,并可以帮助用户认知思维进行功能性的转变;交互类产品可以根据其特点进行色彩和形态有目的性的相互引导;情境对用户理解交互过程至关重要.
