Application of MCU interface with floppy disk driver in computerised embroidery machine

Abstract  Floppy disk driver is the most popular peripheral storage device with many merits.But the storage devices nOW only apply to the standard com puter system ,which lim its the application in the em bedded system using single chip as the core,such as com puterised em broidery m achine.In practice,floppy disk driver is used as expansion of external storage.This paper gives a brief introduction to the control chip-GM 82C765B.based on which the hardware circuit design of interface between M CU and floppy disk driver,and the software design of the writing and reading of the floppy disk driver are provided.This design has been applied in the computerised embroidery machine and has achieved a real good effect.

单片机和软盘驱动器接口在电脑绣花机中的应用

现有的软盘驱动器仅适用于标准计算机系统,限制了其在以单片机为核心的嵌入式系统如电脑绣花机控制系统中的应用,而实际应用中需要软驱作为外存扩展,简单介绍了软驱控制芯片GM82C765B,在此基础上设计出单片机和软盘驱动器之间的接口电路和操作软驱的应用软件,该设计在电脑绣花机系统中投入应用,并取得良好的效果。
