Numerical analysis of the high voltage electrostatic field in air purifiers

Abstract  High voltage electrostatic field is the key parameter impacting the effect of purification and sterilization of air purifiers. In order to determine the impact of the structural parameters of electrostatic field on air purifiers, the 2-demension characteristics of air purifiers was analyzed and simulated through finite difference method (FDM) in Matlab. Research on the impact of wire size, plate-to-plate distance, and wire-to-plate distance on the voltage-current characteristics was carried out. Finally, the correctness and effectiveness of the FDM was demonstrated by the experimental data, which provided valuable references for research on the sterilization principle of air purifiers and improvement of its performance.

空气净化机高压静电场数值分析

高压静电场是影响空气净化机净化杀菌效果的重要参量.为确定电场结构参数对空气净化机净化性能的影响,利用有限差分法,使用Matlab语言编写程序对高压电场的二维特性进行仿真分析,并研究了电晕半径、线板间距、线线间距因素对电场伏安特性的影响.最后通过实验验证了该有限差分程序仿真数据的有效性和正确性,为深入研究空气净化机杀菌机理和设计高性能的空气净化机提供重要参考价值.
