Economic design of integrating SPC with EPC based on quality feature constraints

Abstract Aiming at the 1st -order dynamic process with the disturbance of ARIMA(0,1,1), the effect of abnormal causes is analyzed and an economic design model integrating SPC (statistical process control) and EPC (engineering process control) based on quality feature constraints was established. This method can minimize the cost of the whole production process in the perspective of economy, and meantime take into account the special requirements of product quality features. The research results can provide some theoretical basis for the design of variance EWMA control chart
