Design for control system of 3D CNC wire bending machine based on virtual axis

Abstract  When the 3D CNC wire bending machine bended workpieces, it not only needs to control each axis of the precise position, but also to control multiaxis for position synchronization. And the quality of synchronous control had a direct impact on the forming quality of the workpieces. To improve the synchronous precision in position controlling of 3D CNC wire bending machine, Siemens Simotion C240 as a motion controller was applied and the scheme of position closed loop control was adopted. And the control system was designed for the 3D CNC wire bending machine which belonged to rotary head type. Based on the control system, synchronous control of multiaxis position was experienced through using synchronous control method of virtual axis. The test results were analyzed based on the actual running curve of multiaxis, which were obtained from the experiment. The results of experiment show that, compared with other synchronous control strategies, the control system of wire bending machine which based on synchronous control strategies of virtual axis has higher accuracy in synchronous controlling and has good stability. And it can meet the synchronous control request of workpieces.

基于虚轴法的三维数控弯丝机控制系统设计

三维数控弯丝机在弯制工件时不仅需要对各轴进行精确的位置控制,还需要对多轴进行位置的同步控制,而其同步控制的好坏将直接影响到工件成形质量.为提高三维数控弯丝机的位置同步控制精度,应用西门子Simotion C240为运动控制器,采用位置闭环控制方案,针对旋转式三维数控弯丝机进行了控制系统设计.在该控制系统基础上,通过采用虚拟轴同步控制策略的方法,对弯丝机多轴位置同步控制进行了实验,根据实验得到的多轴同步的实际运行曲线,对测试结果进行了分析.实验表明,与其他同步控制策略相比,基于虚拟轴同步控制策略的弯丝机控制系统同步控制精度高,稳定性好,满足工件加工的同步控制要求.
