Research on steel belt transmission mechanism for the position feedback of the linear motion part

Abstract  In order to improve the precision of the linear motion part, a new position feedback method using the steel belt transmission was proposed, and a set of position feedback mechanism based on single belt wheel was designed. The modeling and theoretical analysis were presented. When the maximum angle of the steel wheel was fixed, the new kind of steel belt transmission mechanism has many advantages, such as the smaller radius of the belt wheel, the smaller volume, the lighter weight and so on, compared with the usual steel belt transmission mechanism. So the new mechanism has significant superiority in the overall structural design and manufacturing costs of the transmission system. The experimental results show that, when the linear motion stroke is 109.9 mm, the maximum displacement error is 0.006 mm. The linear motion components satisfy the use requirement. The principle of method is reasonable and the structure is compact, simple design, and can be widely used in various instruments.

用于直线运动部件位置反馈的新型钢带传动机构研究

为了提高直线传动机构运动精度,提出了一种基于钢带传动的位置反馈方法,并设计了单带轮位置反馈机构.通过建模及理论分析,该机构与常用的钢带传动机构相比,在带轮最大转角固定的情况下,具有带轮半径小、体积小、质量轻等优点,在传动系统结构总体设计的合理性及制造成本方面具有显著优势.实验结果表明,直线运动部件行程为109.9 mm时,直线运动部件最大位移误差为0.006 mm,满足使用要求.该机构结构紧凑、设计简单,可在各种仪器中广泛使用.
