Innovation design of the softener supply equipment of roller washing machine on TRIZ evolutionary trees

Abstract Using evolutionary trees could predict product development and avoid the existing patents. The method for evolutionary trees is based on the division line of the main objects. In this line, it identifies the stage which need to be improved, searches the available evolution lines, and forms the evolutionary trees ultimately. At last, it finds the solution to the problem in the evolutionary trees. In the innovation of softener supply unit in roller washing machine, the evolution line was cut by the system components and the prompt was gotten by the geometric objects evolution line. By using evolutionary tree, a new solution that a single triangle prism substituted original fourslot supply unit was found, which avoided existing patent effectively.
