The effects of picks arrangement on loads law of rock cutting with longitudinal cutting head

Abstract  In order to research the effects of picks arrangement on loads pattern of rock cutting with longitudinal cutting head, loads of three kinds of cutting heads with different pick-arranged were simulated on basis of the mathematical model of rock cutting loads of cutting head, load fluctuation curves and related statistical data were developed. They indicated that the load fluctuates on two frequencies, in which the low-frequency fluctuation is determined by number of helixes and their wrap angle, the value of low-frequency is equal to number of helixes multiplied by rotating frequency of cutting head. On the other hand, the high-frequency fluctuation results from discontinuity of picks, taking the rotating frequency of cutting head as the fundamental frequency.The value of highfrequency is related to circular interval angle of picks. Under the same conditions, average and maximum of Ra,Rb,Rc,Mc increase with θi increase, but mean square deviation and volatility factor of Ra,Rb,Rc,Mc decrease. A theoretical computational formula, which can be used to guide the design of longitudinal cutting head, is developed according to the simulated data.

纵轴式截割头截齿布置对破岩载荷规律的影响

为了研究截齿布置对纵轴式截割头破岩载荷规律的影响,在建立截割头破岩载荷数学模型的基础上,对3个不同截齿布置参数的截割头破岩载荷进行了仿真,得到了载荷波动曲线及其相关统计量.仿真结果表明载荷存在2个频率的波动:低频波动由螺旋线头数及其包角决定,波动频率等于螺旋线头数与截割头转频的乘积;较高频率的波动由截齿的不连续性引起,波动频率以截割头转频为基频,其大小与截齿周向间隔角有关;同等条件下,随着截齿周向间隔角θi的增加,载荷Ra,Rb,Rc,Mc的峰值和平均值依次增加,但其均方差和波动性系数依次减小.根据仿真结果总结出载荷波动频率的理论计算公式,这对纵轴式截割头的设计研究具有重要的理论指导意义.
