Abstract Aiming at the problem that the large number of variables in design and manufacture of the oblique five-hinge joint-double toggle clamping unit of cup makers, hardness in its assembling, wide range of the variation of its functional objective value, the necessity and feasibility of its robust design was analyzed. An optimization model was established according to the analytical robust design theory, and the system variables were optimized to decrease the variation of the system objective value. Finally, the sensitivity matrix was calculated to indicate the relationship between sensitivity and every design system variable. The research results reveal that the critical angle, oblique angle and the size of forward-wrist pin, and backward-wrist pin are the most crucial to determine the quality of the system. It provides an objective basis on how to improve systems’ accuracy selectively, which can be employed in engineering practice.

制杯机五孔斜排双曲肘合模机构的稳健设计研究
针对制杯机五孔斜排双曲肘合模机构设计参数多,难以装配,功能目标值变化范围大等问题,分析了对其进行稳健设计的必要性与可行性,并根据分析性稳健设计理论建立了优化模型,对系统各参数进行了优化,减小了系统目标值的变动量.最后计算出灵敏性矩阵,指出系统敏感性与各参数之间的关系.研究结果表明,在五孔斜排双曲肘合模机构的加工和装配过程中,与此系统中的其他参数相比,临界角,前、后肘杆长度及斜排角的变动量对模具工作行程和合模力变动量的影响是最为关键的.研究结果为设计、加工及装配人员如何有选择性地提高系统精度提供了客观依据,具有较大的实际意义.
