Statistical Tolerance and the Development Process of Statistical Evaluation of Surface Roughness

Abstract  The disadvantages of the present geometric tolerance theory and the associated standards are analysed systemat ically, and the stat istical tolerance concept is proposed. The characteristics of the statistical tolerance system are clearly ident ified as being advantageous. In the analysis, w e clearly point out that the stat istical tolerance means the tolerance of statist ical parameters, and the stat ist ical tolerance system w ill be the development direction after the geometric tolerance theory. The development of the process for surface roughness evaluat ion is used as an example to illust rate the finding s for the statistical tolerance.

统计公差与表面粗糙度的统计评定

系统分析了现行几何公差标准及其体系的缺点,提出统计公差的特征及其合理性,明确提出了“统计公差即统计参数的公差”,指出“统计公差是几何公差的发展方向”,并以表现粗糙度统计评定的发展说明统计公差的优越性。
